Frequently Asked Questions

I have provided answers to commen questions you might have prior to sending a top for quilting. Please don't hesitate to call me (435-213-6618) or email me with any other questions you might have.

Q. How long does it take you to quilt my top?
A. Generally, it takes between 2-4 weeks to have your top quilted.

Q. What should I do before I send my top?
A. It should be squared up and pressed before sending it to me. If there are excess threads, I do my best to get this cleaned up while I'm quilting your top.

Q. How big should my backing be?
A. Your backing should be 10 inches wider and 10 inches longer than your quilt top.

Q. Can I provide my own batting?
A.Yes, you may provide your own batting. We also carry batting as well.

Q. Do you post pictures of your customer's quilts?
A. Summit Creek Quilts does post photographs of the completed quilts. These can be seen at www.webshots.com/user/summitcreekquilts. It's a fun place to view a lot of "eye candy."
